Webinar: Thinking about breast reconstruction?

The decision to have, or not have, breast reconstruction is a very personal one. This webinar is for women like you, who are interested in exploring their options around breast reconstruction.

This will be a little different from our past webinars - it'll be a live streaming of a breast reconstruction awareness event which is taking place at the Wharewaka Function Centre in Wellington. It's also a bit longer - 90 minutes - and will feature a larger panel, but you'll still get a chance to ask questions in the end.

Meet your panel

Dr Krishna Clough, a world leader in surgical oncology. Krishna is flying in from Paris to share his wealth of experience with you. He'll talk about breast reconstruction as part of your treatment plan.

Mr Burton King is a general surgeon with a special interest in breast and abdominal wall reconstruction. He'll talk about the goals of the breast cancer surgeon.

Miss Ineke Meredith, an oncoplastic breast and general surgeon at Wellington Hospital will discuss oncoplastic techniques for partial breast reconstruction.

Mr David Glasson is a consultant plastic surgeon, specialising in breast surgery, including reduction, augmentation, lift and reconstruction. He'll talk about expander and implant reconstruction.

Mr Marcus Bisson, a plastic and reconstructive surgery specialist will conclude the presentation part of the evening with a discussion on autologous flaps.
