Scalp Cooling Equipment Grant

Breast Cancer Foundation NZ Scalp Cooling Equipment Grant

Breast Cancer Foundation NZ has funding available for a total of 10 x PAXMAN PSCS Dual Patient System to be supplied to District Health Boards around New Zealand.

Applications will be granted on a “first in, first served” basis to applicants who can provide assurance to BCFNZ’s satisfaction that they are committed to and capable of managing the implementation and ongoing provision of a scalp cooling service to eligible breast cancer patients.

We will consider applications for more than one Paxman machine within a chemotherapy unit where patient numbers require this. The expected usage level of the machine(s) will also be a factor in BCFNZ’s consideration of applications. Retrospective grants will not be considered.

To see more about the information we require and the conditions of the grant, head to our grants portal, create a login if you don't already have one, and view the application form.

Once you have submitted this application, BCFNZ may contact you for further information. If you have any questions about this grant, please contact Adele Gautier on grants@bcf.org.nz or 09 304 0961 / 021 423 353. If you have questions about scalp cooling and how to implement it, email Phil Woodward at Regional Health (Paxman distributor).
