Pink Ribbon Breakfast is Breast Cancer Foundation NZ’s biggest fundraising campaign, where each year, thousands of amazing Kiwis all across NZ get together to do good in their communities. The money raised helps fund breast cancer education; innovative projects by some of our country’s top researchers; and supports patients and their families as they navigate through their breast cancer journeys.
Anyone can host a breakfast, and it can be as small or as large as you like! All you need to do is invite some friends or family around, get your work colleagues or team together, and give them breakfast, morning tea, lunch or dinner. It can be as simple as a cup of coffee and a muffin. In return, your guests can give you a donation to pass onto the Foundation, or you can organize games, have merchandise, run a raffle or auction, or sell tickets to your event.
If breakfast’s not for you, why not take on a challenge? You could dye your hair pink, run 10km or give up sugar for the month. Simply let everyone know how you’re challenging yourself and get them on board to sponsor you!
