BCFNZ relies on awesome people like you to help us increase breast cancer awareness and save kiwi lives. Fortunately, there isn't just one way to show your support. A number of events run throughout the year that you can get involved with to make zero deaths from cancer a reality. We can't do it alone, but together, we can make a difference.

Auckland Round the Bays

Take part in this event for BCFNZ and you can join our exclusive team of Pink Ribbon Active fundraisers.

When you sign up as a Pink Ribbon Active fundraiser you’ll be joining a group of people who are passionate about supporting the 8 women diagnosed with breast cancer everyday in NZ. Raise over $150 and we’ll send you a Pink Ribbon Active t-shirt for you to wear proudly on race day!

The money raised from this event will enable us to support women of all ages around New Zealand, helping to reduce their risk of developing and dying of breast cancer.

Please consider taking up this challenge to help women facing their own challenge. Its easy to do, we have listed the steps below.

Auckland Marathon

The Auckland Marathon is coming back for 2017! This year it will be on the 29th of October.

Take part in this event for BCFNZ and you can join our exclusive team of Pink Ribbon Active fundraisers as an official Charity Hero or an own place runner.

Charity Heroes

Charity heroes pledge to raise a minimum of $1500 for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ and as a charity hero you'll receive:

-Free entry into your chosen race distance

-Free Bus or Ferry transport to the start line

-Free official Pink Ribbon Active dri-fit T-shirt

-Free Finishers photo

-Charity Hero medal

-Entry to our post race and hospitality area at the Breast Cancer Foundation marquee

-Unlimited expert advice and fundraising plans to help you reach your fundraising

If you've already purchased your ticket we'd still have you on the Pink Ribbon Team it's easy to start fundraising, simply set up an online fundraising page and share it with friends and family.

Taupo Great Lake Relay

Breast Cancer Foundation NZ is the official charity of the 2017 Traffic Management NZ Great Lake Relay on the 18th of February.

Take part in this event for BCFNZ and you can join our exclusive team of Pink Ribbon Active fundraisers. When you sign up as a Pink Ribbon Active fundraiser you will get sent a copy of the Pink Ribbon Active logo which you can print on your t-shirt to proudly show your support!

Don’t miss being part of the Annual Great Lake Relay around the largest lake in Australasia – Lake Taupo. Each team consists of 8 to 18 members, either running or walking the entire 155km around Lake Taupo.

The Length of the Lake event caters for teams of five to eight or solo competitors who can run or walk to complete the eight legs from Pukawa on the southern end of the lake back to Taupo.

The money raised from this event will enable us to support women of all ages around New Zealand, helping to reduce their risk of dying of breast cancer.

We cannot do it alone, but together, we can make a difference.

NZ House & Garden Tours

Breast Cancer Foundation NZ is thrilled to be the chosen charity for the NZ House & Garden Tours. In 2017, the tours were held in February, March and April in 5 beautiful locations around the country. The tours give New Zealanders the chance to step inside the pages of NZ House & Garden and experience some of the country’s most beautiful homes: all for a good cause! With a stunning mix of homes on show in each of the five regions (In 2017 these were: Hawke’s Bay, Tauranga, Christchurch, Wanaka and Auckland) there is something for everyone.

Thank you to all those who attended and volunteered at the NZ House & Garden Tours 2017.
