October is International Breast Cancer Awareness Month - and the perfect time to support Breast Cancer Foundation NZ towards zero deaths from breast cancer.
Pink Ribbon Walk
Walk for the ones you love at the annual Pink Ribbon Walks in Auckland on Sunday 5 October and Christchurch on Sunday 12 October – it’s the pinkest event of the year!
Pink Ribbon Street Appeal
Forget painting the town red! On Friday 17 & Saturday 18 October, it’s all about pink. Grab a bucket, get your friends, and join the thousands of others of volunteers collecting all around Aotearoa.

Know your normal
One of the easiest things you can do this October is check your breasts! Know the normal look and feel of your breasts so you can spot any changes quickly.
Get a Mammogram
Women have a 95% chance of surviving breast cancer five years or longer if the cancer is detected by a mammogram. Early detection is your best protection.

You can make a donation directly to Breast Cancer Foundation NZ at any time. Funds will support breast cancer education, research, and patient support.
