We invite applications for research grants, fellowships and scholarships during specified funding rounds throughout the year. Current opportunities are listed below.
Grant applications may be reviewed by the Foundation’s Medical Advisory Committee (comprising clinicians from across the spectrum of breast cancer disciplines), or in partnership with other funders such as the Health Research Council, or by an independent review panel.
The criteria for evaluating applications include an assessment of scientific merit, feasibility, originality, significance and ability to achieve the project’s objectives.
See the application schedule for specific funding rounds or email us for an initial discussion about your application. Retrospective funding will not be considered.
Applicants and institutions must be New Zealand based, although grants can be used to support participation in international studies.
