Being diagnosed with breast cancer can feel like a whirlwind between diagnosis and treatment. Our expert panel shares insights into breast cancer treatment and finding support for yourself and your family. 

Meet your panel

Sulu Samu is a Pacific nurse specialist at Waitematā District Health Board. She gave insight into her role of the cancer nurse co-ordinator and what support is available for women and their families.

Karina Wright is a breast nurse at Counties Manukau District Health Board. She will gave insight into the hospital process and what you can expect from treatment.

Maryann Heather is a GP at South Seas Healthcare. She shared how your GP can offer support after a breast cancer diagnosis.

Loga Crichton and Kolini Ma'afu were diagnosed with breast cancer. They shared their experiences of diagnosis and treatment, and the advice they would give to other women.
