We’re launching NZ’s first ever webinar for advanced breast cancer patients

We're pleased to announce the first in series of webinars for breast cancer patients. On Tuesday October 18th, the NZ Breast Cancer Foundation is hosting three experts to talk about:

Living a normal(ish) life with advanced breast cancer.

This webinar is aimed at advanced breast cancer patients, but we welcome supporters, early breast cancer patients, medical professionals, and interested member of the public to join in too.

The webinar will take place on Tuesday 18th of October at 7pm. You can join the webinar from any computer, tablet or smartphone, just by registering. You can listen to the three presenters, and interact by asking questions and posting comments if you choose to.

During the webinar, Christine Manins, who’s been living with advanced breast cancer for twelve years, will talk about the ups and downs she’s been through since being diagnosed. Sinda Hall will talk through living your new life well, finding emotional support, and having those difficult conversations. Juliet Ireland will discuss anxiety and depression, maintaining meaning and purpose, and managing your own expectations, and the expectations of those around you.

Register for the webinar here.

You will be sent a reminder email before the event, including instructions on how to watch the webinar at home.

We hope you enjoy attending the webinar, and be sure to look out for more webinars for advanced breast cancer patients in the future.
