In this webinar, our expert panel, including visiting international surgeon Professor Angel Arnaout, discusses the breast-conserving surgical techniques that studies show offer the highest survival rates, while allowing women to keep their breast following a diagnosis of breast cancer.

Meet your panel

Professor Angel Arnaout is a surgical oncologist and Professor of Surgery, all the way from Ottawa, Canada. She is in demand around the world as an advisor on best practice in breast cancer care.

Dr Mike Puttick is an oncoplastic breast surgeon at Auckland City Hospital. He performs both breast-conserving surgery (also known as lumpectomy or partial mastectomy) and mastectomy in both public and private practice.

Lorna Subritzky is one of our ambassadors, as well as a radio host for Coast FM. After first being diagnosed with DCIS in 2016, she was diagnosed with breast cancer again in May this year. She shares with us her breast cancer journey and how she made her decision to have breast-conserving surgery.
