    South Canterbury

In South Canterbury your donations help fund:

    • Bio-impedence machine for Timaru Hospital to assist in the early detection of lymphoedema.
    • The BCFNZ Pink Caravan and breast nurses to provide free consultations in cities, small towns and some large businesses as part of its South Island tour.
    • Free individual or family counselling sessions for anyone who has ever been diagnosed with breast cancer.
    • PINC individual physio sessions to assist with recovery after surgery – up to four free sessions (eligibility criteria apply) in Timaru.
    • Regular web-based seminars for breast cancer patients who can attend via computer, tablet or phone from anywhere in South Canterbury. They can question members of the panel during the webinar, giving them access to expert advice they otherwise might not get.
    • An online community, mybc, that links patients and their families no matter where they are in New Zealand, and offers support, advice and encouragement.
